“I have always maintained a portfolio and sought guidance on crafting a compelling story. What is the difference between simply describing what I did and telling a conversational story? This course has helped me develop a better design narrative for my project.”
“Julia took a detailed check on my current portfolio and pointed out many aspects that I can work on to improve the storytelling and general structure. I really appreciate the useful suggestions she shared with me!”
“I got some great feedback to prep my portfolio for an upcoming interview. Julia showed me some things that were still not clear and that were crucial to add. I would certainly recommend her for your gnarly portfolio questions.”
“I used to watch YT videos and attend ADP group sessions related to portfolio building, which would often share similar knowledge. But a structured, month-long program, made it feel more personal and particularly helped with accountability. ”
This program is perfect for UX designers with 0-3 years of experience, especially if you're job-seeking and ready to refine your portfolio.
You’ll get the most out of the program if you have at least one case study to refine. If you’re starting from scratch, it may take more effort to keep up.
No guarantees, but a strong portfolio dramatically increases your chances of landing interviews and standing out in the hiring process.
I understand that UX designers come from all over the world, and pricing can feel different depending on where you live. If the cost is a barrier, send me an email to [email protected], and we can discuss possible options!
Plan for 6-8 hours per week to complete assignments and attend Q&A sessions.
The program is designed to be flexible, so you can work at your own pace. Even if you can’t finish everything within the 4 weeks, you’ll still have the materials and frameworks to continue refining your portfolio afterward.
This program is primarily designed for early-career UX designers (0-3 years of experience). However, if you're a senior designer, you might still find value in refining your storytelling and case study structure, especially if you're looking for a job and haven't touched your portfolio in a while.
